The sizing charts use approximate measurements in millimeters (mm) to help you choose the best Gel-X tip width and length. At the top of each Gel-X tip guide, you’ll see a photo that explains how to measure the actual nail tips—note that sizing may vary depending on the length and structure selected. Each shape is labeled as follows:
L = Length | W = Width | IC = Inner Curvature (refer to the photos above for clarity).

📌📌Let’s say you’re measuring your ring fingernail using tape. You place the tape across your natural nail, mark the width, and then measure the markings using a millimeter ruler. If the measurement reads 15mm, you’ll refer to the Gel-X Tip Guide below choose the nail shape you want then match that number with the IC (inner curvature) size that fits your preferred length—for example, in Almond Short, a 15mm width corresponds to a Size 3 Gel-X tip. You’ll repeat this process for each finger, making sure to measure both hands if your sizes differ. Once you’ve recorded all ten sizes (thumb to pinky), you’ll enter those numbers in the custom sizing field prompted when placing your press-on nail order. Keep in mind that tip sizes may vary depending on the shape and length selected, so always double-check the guide before submitting your order.
